Let it Snow

So we had a really rainy, cold weather over the weekend, not usual weather for an early Fall in Northern Virginia. We were supposed to be camping this past weekend but had to call it off due to all the rain and temperatures dropping to upper 40s during the day! Brrr. But that gave me a chance to stay home and work on some cards :)) Here is another one I managed to finish this weekend:

It's been a while

It's been a while since I posted anything on the blog but I've been busy lately. First getting ready for the family vacation, then almost 3 weeks in Europe (YAY!) and finally getting back to reality upon returning home. The 6 hours time difference wasn't helping for the first few days. And then, when I finally thought I was back on my feet, my kid got sick and ... you know how that goes. But it's all good, Daniel is back to his happy self and I have some time to craft. So I made 2 cards tonight. Here is the first one, for our ScrapFriendly yahoo group. We were asked to use provided image to color it with a medium of our choice and to use it on a card or another paper project. I made this little card.
Supplies:
Image: Provided by one of the members and a host of this week's challenge - Shawna (THANKS!)

I am always happy to add a new page to my son's album. This one will be for his second year album. I combined 2 challenges in this layout - May focus on journaling on our yahoo Scrap Friendly yahoo group and NSD challenge #6 also on Scrap Friendly group. You can only imaging how happy I am now, knowing I am going to receive the 5x7 hand drawn, colored and signed original piece of artwork by Dustin. Happy, happy dance here :)

Very first post

I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while but somehow couldn't find a good enough reason for it. However, recently, I started to participate in more and more different card challenges posted on various blogs online so I decided it would be handy to have a spot in they cyberspace to post all my cards and other craft projects. So here I am, with my very own blog, and my very first post.
