Card for Joe

My good friend Bonnie, met through our online Scrap Friendly yahoo group is planning on surprising her husband Joe with 60 cards for his 60th birthday. So many members of the group decided to help out with that goal and make a card for him as well. Here is my little card for Joe. I bet it will be great to be showered with all the cards on his birthday. I may borrow that idea and do something similar for my hubby turning 40 later this year ;) But shhhhhh... it's a secret, we don't want to talk about that ;) LOL

In any case, I need to make another Father's Day card, for my Dad this time.
Here are the supplies I used:

Coloring: Copics
Sentiment: LOTV

Kiddo/male birthday card

It's National Scrapbooking Day so how could I not spend my evening in my craft corner? It doesn't happen much that you see more than 1 post from me on the same day so you may as well enjoy it while it lasts :) To honor NSD our yahoo Scrap Friendly group hosted a bunch of fun challenges posted all on the groups blog. One of the challenges asked us to use only new stuff on our project. I had no problem with this one, as I've got quite a few new toys recently and many of them were never used before.

A layout from me, who would have though?

Who would have thought I will be able to finish a layout today. The day wasn't going quite as I had planned, things kept coming up, tasks to be tackled kept popping up... but I managed. Yay! I am always happy to add a new page to my son's album. This one will be for his second year album. I combined 2 challenges in this layout - May focus on journaling on our yahoo Scrap Friendly yahoo group and NSD challenge #6 also on Scrap Friendly group. More details found on Scrap Friendly's blog.
