WOW card (white on white)

My dear friends Bonnie and Jenee shared their sweet WOW cards on our scrapfriendly ground and encouraged/inspired me to give it a shot as well. Here is what I came up with:

My God Mother was so kind to get me an awesome birthday gift (new purple cow 2 in 1 trimmer yay!), so I wanted to make a special card for her. I also saw the sketch on just magnolia blogspot and decided to use it for my card. Here is what I came up with:

Happy Grandma & Grandpa's Day

In Poland, we celebrate Grandma's Day on January 21st and Grandpa's Day on January 22nd. Since Daniel is still a bit young to create his own art for his Babcia i Dziadek (Grandma & Grandpa in Polish), I stepped up to the task and created a card for them. Hope they like it. It's an easel card.

Fabulous Day

My crafty friend has a birthday today, so I decided to make a card for her. I wanted to make it special, and below is what I came up with. I used a new product (at least new to me) I discovered recently - Flower soft. I like the texture it adds to the card.

Let it Snow

So we had a really rainy, cold weather over the weekend, not usual weather for an early Fall in Northern Virginia. We were supposed to be camping this past weekend but had to call it off due to all the rain and temperatures dropping to upper 40s during the day! Brrr. Little Elf Mim

I had the evening all to myself as my husband went to his friend's house to watch some football, so I had a few hours all to myself. So guess what I did? Yep, I went into my craft corner to work on yet another challenge. On our Scrapfriendly group, my friend Margo challenged us with a bingo board. So I used that while working on this card.

It's been a while

It's been a while since I posted anything on the blog but I've been busy lately. First getting ready for the family vacation, then almost 3 weeks in Europe (YAY!) and finally getting back to reality upon returning home. The 6 hours time difference wasn't helping for the first few days. And then, when I finally thought I was back on my feet, my kid got sick and ... you know how that goes. But it's all good, Daniel is back to his happy self and I have some time to craft. So I made 2 cards tonight. Here is the first one, for our ScrapFriendly yahoo group. My good friend Bonnie, met through our online Scrap Friendly yahoo group is planning on surprising her husband Joe with 60 cards for his 60th birthday. Kiddo/male birthday card

It's National Scrapbooking Day so how could I not spend my evening in my craft corner?
