Happy Bee-Day
Every Friday, we host a new card challenge on our ScrapFriendly group. Today's challenge was to use Bargello Technique. It looked interesting to me and I liked the end result so I decided to give it a shot. I used 3 different pattern papers, cut 3/4" strips, glued them together, cut them up, glued once again and voila.
List of supplies:
Image: Dustin Pike
Paper: From stash
Coloring: Copics (E33, E 35, E47, E57, B28, B39, E000, E00, R20, E11, C5, C7, Y35, Y38, R24, W5, R27, G14, B23, Y35, B0000, B000 )
Additional: Nestabilities - scalloped heart, Ribbon from stash, 4 green brads, diamond stickles
I am submitting this card for Dustin's "It's a party" challenge & 4 layers or more @
Catch The Bug
and Simon Says Satmps (a card for a child), as well as AiFactory's "Party Animal" challenge, plus Card Making Mamas (spring colors).

Oh my... I love this card. Your use of bling is great... I love that staggered paper technique! Did you get the idea from SCS? I've been dying to try it myself.

ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for such sweet compliments. Gramma, yes, the idea came from Splitcoaststamper. It's a fun technique. I will try to do it again and use a smaller image next time so I won't cover it so much.
