Birthday wishes & buttefly kisses

This past Friday, our Scrap Friendly group was challenged to create a window card. Here is what I came up with. It's a flower shaped card cut out using my Gypsy (and Cricut). Pretty much everything you can see was cut out on Cricut/Gypsy using various cartridges. I added a little pearl using my Pearl pen by Viva Decor. Sentiment is computer generated using Lucida Handwriting font.

I cannot believe I won ;))

A few days ago, Dustin Pike hosted a fun blog hop to celebrate his blog's 2nd anniversary. It was a super fun blog hop with many great inspirational projects shared along the way. I am very fond of Dustin's cute images so I really enjoyed visiting all his crew member's blogs. You can only imaging how happy I am now, knowing I am going to receive the 5x7 hand drawn, colored and signed original piece of artwork by Dustin. Happy, happy dance here :)

You are so... sweet

Mo Manning, the author of this sweet image is one of the favorites artists of my good friend. I really like her drawings myself so when my friend shared a word about current Mo's Challenge, I decided to join in the fun. I also kept in mind our current challenge on the Scrap Friendly Yahoo group while working on this card. It's a BINGO mini game where you are asked to use certain medium/techniques to score bingo. I was able to score 2 rows with this card: flowers/ribbon/punch or die and flowers/stamp/embossing.

Very first post

I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while but somehow couldn't find a good enough reason for it. However, recently, I started to participate in more and more different card challenges posted on various blogs online so I decided it would be handy to have a spot in they cyberspace to post all my cards and other craft projects. So here I am, with my very own blog, and my very first post.
